“As a photographer you are asked to capture a multitude of things, the challenge is to be able to capture the essence of whatever you’re shooting – highlighting its beauty & uniqueness. Whether it be spaces, food, experiences or people – the key is to understand its uniqueness & take photographs that truly capture its integrity. I believe, this is what separates someone that takes photos & a photographer. Attention to detail, awareness, intuition & anticipation are all core to my style. I bring these elements to every shoot & are key to who I am as a photographer. “

Then came the era of Instagram and TV cooking shows like MasterChef and My Kitchen Rules.
These forces, among others, have led to an explosion in food fetishism and the rise of the celebrity chef.

Margan wines are all Estate Grown and Estate Made in the Broke Fordwich region of the Hunter Valley. The business was established in 1996 and is owned and operated by Lisa and Andrew Margan who are proud to have over 100 hectares of quality vineyards, a state of the art winery and striking cellar door and Margan restaurant as part of their onsite wine tourism operations.
Margan Restaurant is regarded as ‘acclaimed agri-dining at its finest’. It pioneered the Kitchen Garden concept in the region and is committed to the business ethos of estate grown- estate made. In addition, the estate produces olives, free range eggs, honey and lambs and chooses to source quality produce from local farm gate growers.
Now in it’s 20th year of wine production, Margan is committed to looking after the land so that it is able to be sustainable for generations to come. As such, the business is determined to ensure it’s carbon footprint is as small as possible.
